Evaluation and Assessment Program

Upon arrival at La Paloma, clients go through an evaluation program to determine the stage of recovery and requirements of the individual.

This five-day evaluation program is designed for individuals and organizations requiring an extensive evaluation and assessment report to determine the specific needs and recommendations surrounding the individual’s co-occurring disorder.

The procedure involves:
  • Chemical dependency history and assessment
  • Medical assessment
  • Other biopsychosocial assessments
  • Assessments delivered to the referring agency

Often, individuals will begin a medically managed detoxification regimen simultaneously along with the assessment. Once these steps are taken, the individual will go on to transition to the Residential or Outpatient programs.

We do all we can to ensure needs are met and comfort is provided as soon as you or your loved one enters our program.
